Determined To Finish The Wall

I was absolutely determined to get that door wall built today. It’s incredibly hot and Cody has a half day of school so two things conspired to stop me. There were some oops and ouches along the way. But I got it framed and the two larger pieces of siding hung. Tomorrow I just may finish hanging the siding. Maybe. 

I will need to revisit the step because it’s rotten in parts and collapsed under my foot. Not good. 

I had the lovely idea of how to hold my studs while I screwed them in only to realize the wood was now stuck inside the sawhorses. Thankfully they have plastic parts that separate. I guess for people like me. Lol.

And a board I was screwing slipped so the staple sticking out cut my left index finger! Ugh! 

Oh well, it’s not learning if there’s no blood, sweat and tears I guess.
